LayingSealing
The sealing is an operation done to seal superficially the joints of an outdoor porphyry flooring. The sealing can be done in three different ways: sand sealing, sand and concrete grout sealing and resin sealing.
The first consists in covering the joints with fine sand, in order to allow, when necessary, the recycling of laid elements. However, this technique needs a more frequent maintenance because of the grass that might grow inside the joints.
The second one makes the flooring stable and the elements solid, preventing the grass from growing into the joints.
The last one is the most recent solution and, thanks to its flexibility, it is perfect for the floorings with a major vehicular traffic. Moreover it allows the transit of vehicles 24 hours after the intervention.
